Our email newsletter which goes out to our members, contains personal accounts, news, and a variety of 17th Airborne information.

The Scions organization has regular reunions and gatherings.

 

Our annual meeting is generally held in March on the anniversary of Operation Varsity.

​

We also have a regular gathering in November at Arlington National Cemetery, where we lay flowers on the graves of the over 60 troopers of the 17th Airborne Division who lie at rest there.

​

We have also organized trips to Europe to visit the areas where the 17th fought in Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany

This website, and the Scions organization, is dedicated to all the veterans who served with the 17th Airborne Division at any time during its period of activation. The site is administered by the "Scions of the 17th Airborne Division, Inc.", an organization chartered by 17th veterans to honor the service of all its veterans and to insure that the story of the 17th Airborne is told. The website will be updated to add information and documents related to the 17th Airborne.
