This new book was the result of research at the US National Archives. It includes over 160 photographs from a collection of the US Army Signal Corps taken in Belgium and Germany. Each photograph has the original caption by the Signal Corps photographer. Context to the photographs is provided with excerpts from the division diary.

During WWII, the 17th published a number of divisional newspapers under the title "Talon". The two most well known are "Talon in Ardennes" and "Talon Crosses the Rhine". In addition we have located 14 additional issues. We have scanned these issues, and combined them on one USB flash drive, so that they can be made available to our membership. Thanks to those who have donated these materials.
